Samantha

Samantha is 23. She robbed a bank today. Sam graduated college six months ago. She has a an office job that barely allows her to pay her student loans. She is drives to work every day in her dad’s 1962 Ford F100. Samantha lives at home with her parents. Partly because she can’t afford to live on her own but also because her parents almost lost their house last year. Her dad works at the local Ford dealership. He has been working there before she was born. Her mom is a nurse at the local hospital. Whatever Sam has left after pay her bills she give to her parents. Sam has lived in this house for 19 of her 23 years. Her room is the same way that she left it when she went off to college four years ago. The notches on the wall where her dad measured her height. The crack in the tile from when she dropped her mom’s favorite flower pot. Sam can feel that her parents are having more problems than they are telling her. One  night Sam came home and overheard her parents talking. She now knew why her parents almost lost the house. Her mom was diagnosed with skin cancer. Sam knew that her parents were going to fall behind again so so she decided to do something about it. The next day she would be late to work.

Sarcastic Letter

Dear kid that is still my friend despite the fact you’re a complete douche bag. I love the way you act like your better than everyone else when your really not. My favorite thing about you is how you act like dick around all your friends. I love how you act like your tough but you’re afraid to ask for help. I love how you do things to annoy our friends on purpose. I love how you try to put other down to make yourself feel better. I love how you wait in front of our house for us to get home and make our parents feel awkward. I love how you have random conversations with our friend’s mom and than about in front of them like they knew about it. I love how you think you’re the shit but you’re just a dick. I love how you act like you care about your friends when you don’t. The thing I love the most about you is that you take our friends friendship for granted even though there would be no one for you to hang out with. So kid that somehow is still my friend I’m writing this letter to tell you that you are the best worst friend anyone could have.
Sincerely,
Reality

“Yeah don’t worry my cousin did the same thing last year.”

“Don’t worry my brother is a doctor he taught me how to do it.”
“Ok I’m ready.”
“Ouch!”
“You said it wouldn’t hurt.”
“Dude I think you actually broke it.”
“Let me go call my brother.”

There is one thing that George has kept from his dad and that is he wants to be a doctor and has already been accepted to Harvard Medical. George doesn’t want to tell this to his dad because he knows how badly his dad wanted to be in the NFL and never made it. He wants to make it for the both of them. He eventually decides to fake an injury and throw away his NFL career to go to med school. George knows that he let his dad down but will eventually tell him the truth when he comes home after graduation.
