Samantha

Samantha is 23. She robbed a bank today. Sam graduated college six months ago. She has a an office job that barely allows her to pay her student loans. She is drives to work every day in her dad’s 1962 Ford F100. Samantha lives at home with her parents. Partly because she can’t afford to live on her own but also because her parents almost lost their house last year. Her dad works at the local Ford dealership. He has been working there before she was born. Her mom is a nurse at the local hospital. Whatever Sam has left after pay her bills she give to her parents. Sam has lived in this house for 19 of her 23 years. Her room is the same way that she left it when she went off to college four years ago. The notches on the wall where her dad measured her height. The crack in the tile from when she dropped her mom’s favorite flower pot. Sam can feel that her parents are having more problems than they are telling her. One  night Sam came home and overheard her parents talking. She now knew why her parents almost lost the house. Her mom was diagnosed with skin cancer. Sam knew that her parents were going to fall behind again so so she decided to do something about it. The next day she would be late to work.
